Lined in red silk and monogrammed with a stunning F in sterling silver, this faux tortoise shell (celluloid) card wallet or coin purse dates from around the mid-late 19th century.
There are four total compartments, one in the middle that closes with its own metal clasp.
Really a unique piece and would be a fabulous gift!

Lovely condition with some minor surface wear on the outside. The silk interior is in fantastic shape, especially considering its age. Clasps (inner pocket and outer cover) both function well.
