Circa 1920s, this exquisite net lace shawl features beautiful metallic gold embroidery in a sun motif.
It is a very long rectangular shape, with embroidered half suns and a scalloped design around the border. At either end there are three full suns arranged in a triangle.
This is such a versatile piece and can be worn as a scarf, shawl, or even arranged to be worn as a blouse. The net lace is sheer and lightweight.
The gold metal threads used in the embroidery have a beautiful glimmer. This is truly a glamorous piece.
